June 22nd - August 23rd

Children

Grades K-5

Our program for children in grades K-5 is filled with exciting activities to keep them engaged this summer! Here's how it works:
  1. Register in Person: All kids must come to the library to register. We’ll help you sign up and give you the materials to get started.
  2. Bingo Board: After registering, each child will get a Bingo Board with different tasks to complete, such as reading a book about animals, completing a craft, or attending a storytime.
  3. Earn Prizes: Complete a row on your Bingo Board, and you can come back to claim a small prize! The more rows you complete, the more prizes you win.
  4. Track Your Progress: Remember to bring in your completed Bingo Board to redeem your prizes!

Infants & Toddlers

Our youngest readers can participate in a fun and interactive way to track their summer reading! Here’s how it works:
  1. Register in Person: A parent or guardian will register their child. Each toddler or infant will get a special tracking sheet.
  2. Paint Palettes & Splats: Kids will receive a Paint Palette sheet with "paint splats" that represent books read. Every time a book is finished, a paint splat is colored in.
  3. Earn Prizes: For every 5 paint splats filled in (one per book), your child can come back and claim a small prize!
  4. Bring Back the Sheet: To collect prizes, simply bring in your completed sheet with the colored-in splats.

Teens

Grades 6-12

Our Teen Summer Reading program is filled with fun tasks, creativity, and the chance to win prizes! Here’s how it works:
  1. Register in Person: Teens must come in to sign up and receive their challenge sheet. You'll also get a mini paint canvas for a fun paint-by-numbers activity!
  2. Complete 8 Tasks: Each task on the sheet corresponds to a color on the paint palette. Complete 8 tasks and fill in your paint-by-numbers canvas to track your progress.
  3. Earn Small Prizes: For every 4 tasks completed, teens can claim a small prize at the library. So the more tasks you finish, the more you win!
  4. Big Prize Drawing: Once you've completed the entire paint palette and finished all 8 tasks, bring it back to the library to receive a raffle ticket for a big prize drawing at the end of the summer. There are two big prizes up for grabs!
  5. Earn More Raffle Tickets: You can also earn one additional raffle ticket every time you check out books. The more books you check out, the more chances you have to win!

Adults

Adults can join the fun, too! This year, we’ve designed a challenge that’s simple, fun, and rewarding.
  1. Get Your Bookmark: Adults will receive a special Summer Reading Bookmark with tasks to complete.
  2. Complete the Tasks: Once you’ve completed all the tasks on the bookmark, bring it back to the library to claim your reward.
  3. Win a Gift Card: Completing your bookmark gives you a chance to win a gift card to a local restaurant—perfect for treating yourself after all your summer reading!
