Unemployment Benefits

Unemployment benefits would be expanded from 26 weeks to 39 weeks and Self-Employed individuals would qualify for the first time.

Thomas J Reilly Senior Center, 100 Madison Ave.  Providing for residents, can receive donations --leave by front door. 

Helping Hand Food Pantry located at the Hillsdale Methodist Church on Magnolia.  Takes donations.  Contact Jody Winsick-Soluri for food assistance  (201) 664-0600.

TriBoro Food Pantry in Park Ridge, located at 65 Pascack Road.
Contact number for her pantry is (201) 576-9083 should you like to donate food or monetary donations to help the mission.

Connex4NPO, has teamed up with Lisa Bontemps and Parkside Community Church, to coordinate donated items from the nonprofit Tree House Cares to those community members who are unable to get to the store or do not have the financial resources at this time to obtain fresh breads, produce, dairy, etc. (see above)

Zion Lutheran Church, through the efforts of Dave and June Baunefiend have supplied significant supplies to the Westwood Food Pantry through their coordination of requests to the Zion congregation and then transport of the items directly to the food pantry.

St. Andrew’s Church Food Pantry is open on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays from 7:00 to 8:30pm for those in need. Thank you to Lori Woods and all of the dedicated volunteers for making this pantry a success for our community.
